Held at Robinson Park, climbers can enjoy a mix of clinics, gear demos, and access to Minnesota’s first ice park. The festival began in 2005 with the help of local climbers and has since seen major milestones, such as expanding to include more routes for beginners. With support from Hard Water Sports and the city of Sandstone, this festival continues to offer a great weekend of climbing and community. Peabody Ice Fest When: February 22, 2025Where: Fenton, MILink: Peabody Ice Fest Celebrating its 20th edition, the Peabody Ice Fest is a must-attend event for climbers of all levels. Held at Peabody Ice Climbing, a retired apple orchard turned premier ice venue, the festival features two towering ice structures (45ft and 72ft) and the only permanent mixed climbing/dry tooling facility in the U.S. Instructors will guide beginners, and gear is available on a first-come, first-served basis.
